Here's something you don't see every day: a genie spanking his master's wife! Taken from a story entitled "The Grumbling Genie" from Captain Marvel Jr #18 (April 1, 1944), this is the only known M/F spanking in any of CM Jr.'s adventures. To the best of our knowledge, it was discovered by us and appears here for the first time on the web. It's not a great spanking in terms of positioning, but it's better than nothing. The pencils are by Mac Raboy, Capt. Marvel Jr.'s most important artist (probably with one or more assistants on inks and backgrounds), while the script is by Otto Binder, who is definitely responsible for most of the spankings in Fawcett comics. Raboy was a very fine artist who drew Capt. Marvel Jr. in a style completely different from C. C. Beck's rather cartoony CM Sr. Raboy, who created the model sheets for other CM Jr. artists to follow, drew CM Jr.'s figure realistically in a style influenced by Alex Raymond, and it's a pity that he was never able to give us a CM Jr. M/F spanking panel. The microfiche scans seen here don't do his work justice, but actual paper copies of comics from this era are not very common.
