The second of three uncle/niece spankings now, a sub-category of the paternal spanking as we noted last time. We also remarked that to be innocent, paternal spankings must be purely disciplinary. Is that true here?

Well...the problem is that Uncle Albert, who bears a strange resemblance to the late Henry Kissinger (as he looked in the 70s, which may be when this cartoon first appeared), is obviously very happy about spanking his niece. However, the situation is somewhat redeemed by the spankee's specific complaint, which differs from the preceding spankee's, "I'm no longer a child," which could be interpreted to preclude any form of punishment, whereas this niece implies that she knows she deserves to be punished: "Can't you think of another punishment?" The humor, then, lies in the fact that while Uncle Albert undoubtedly could think of another punishment, he doesn't want to. Still, we might forgive him as long as we believe the guilty niece deserves to be spanked even though she doesn't want to.

The OTK position is good and, again in contrast to the preceding spanking, is being given on the bare bottom. The artist's signature is illegible, and the publication in which it first appeared is unknown. We've lost our notes on where we found it, and it does not seem to have come from SPK as most of the other entries in this current series have.
