Sherman Oaks - The Newt Paddle |
---> Video Page |
![]() Any girl who mouths off with her hands defiantly on her hips deserves to be paddled! |
Years ago, we posted some still excerpts from what we thought was a movie called Tell Me About It (see "A Hard Lesson in Fiscal Responsibility") that featured Newt Gingrich's face on a paddle. We now know that it was actually from the Showtime television series Sherman Oaks (1995-97), and we present the scene now. The series had an unusual premise: the Baker family becomes the subject of a documentary by a young filmmaker, E. W. Ziffrin (after D. W. Griffith and played by Tyler Bearde) who moves in with them to better tape (this being the video tape era) everything they do. We don't know the exact episode, but it might be season 2 episode 18, "The Candidate" since it apparently involves a guy running for the state senate who becomes our paddler here. We don't know the actors who play him and his spankee, an attractive blonde, but they act the scene pretty well. |
