Yes, Butch, I believe it does, which is why the spankee should be prevented from clenching. There are two ways to accomplish this:

1. If OTK or bending over, see to it that she's bending far enough to prevent clenching. Bending half-way (90-degree bend between upper and lower body) is far enough, and achievable in either position. It may be that Xandra is bent just far enough over Walter's knee that she won't be able to clench, but it's a close call and the spanker should always see to it the spankee is bending over sufficiently.

2. If bending over from a standing position, make her spread her feet apart. Hip abduction (the fancy name for spreading the feet apart) will make clenching impossible with even a slight amount of bending over. I don't have my copy of that film handy to watch just now, but as I remember the Van Johnson-June Allyson movie, the spanking takes place outdoors, next to Van's swimming pool. And the implement he uses to spank June with is a swim flipper. (Or a swim fin.) They're a bit bigger than the average bedroom slipper, and could be better seen by the audience.

By the way, I disagree that "Too Young to Kiss" (1951) is "an otherwise unremarkable film." I especially enjoyed the piano performances and wondered if June Allyson played them herself, since she was known to play the piano in real life. Also, Ms. Allyson won the Golden Globe for her performance in this film.

I have a hunch you're right about this . Yeah, no one feels sorry for her......they all know all of this is her own fault and besides, they all know she's been getting by with behavior for which they would have gotten a spanking!
