Yes, Pinky is a boy (strange name). Fortunately we don't really see him getting spanked, and in fact the officer who was instructed to do so palms him off on a third guy so he can spank some of the criminals . When I looked up the story on SPK Comics, I noticed that Sgt. Pat immediately took Red over his knee... and then there were a couple of panels where there's some haggling over who's going to handle the boy. And then... when it's finally decided and pinky is getting his due... Red is STILL over Sgt. Pat's knee! So... she spent the longest time getting spanked out of anybody!

This week we have a spanking from Menage a 3, a modern comic strip and one near its end as a matter of fact. I hope everyone likes it even though it's F/F for it has a good deal of charm and the spankee is definitely enjoying her submission.

Next, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone (except Bill Gates) - enjoy the holiday and don't go crazy on "Black Friday". Tomorrow begins a very busy season, and I'll discuss our plans for it more next week. Speaking of which, we have another very nice Sweetspot discovery for you when the British strip heroine Jane receives her second known spanking.

Finally, a word of caution about Windows 10 - it stinks! While trying to set up a desktop icon on my new computer, I was not allowed to view the folder where the executable file resided (looking up such locations is old hat for me, and necessary if you want start-up icons for certain programs). Whenever something like that happens, my dominant side comes out and I like to show Windows who's boss by changing settings, permissions, etc. In this case I had to change the ownership of the WindowsApps subdirectory of the Program Files folder (whose computer is it, anyway? Don't tell me I don't have access to my own files!). This should have been no big deal, but in fact all of my MIcrosoft Apps are now broken and even my FTP program (which I use to update CSR) is barely sputtering along after Windows Recovery locked up and failed to recover anything.

So we have programs that get broken even when the files they need are still out there and a Recovery function that doesn't work - that's why I hope Bill Gates's turkey is all dry this year, although I suspect he can always have another catered in. I hope to have everything back up and running by next week but valuable time will be lost as I will probably have to reload Windows. It's things like this that make you want to go with Linux.

So a word to the wise: leave the WindowsApps directory alone. It's very, very fragile, as are Microsoft's Applications, which shouldn't care who owns a file as long as they have access to it. What a way to write a program!

That's a good question, Phil - it's not a restraint, because a restraint is clearly shown around both ankles. Perhaps it's a mini-TV camera to broadcast the spanking action to the missing member of our trio (I think his name is Gary, from the dialogue) or even to the entire internet spanking community !

First of all I want to make an appeal to everyone who hasn't seen B00m's Katie and the Hacker lately to go out there and take a look at it - there's a lot of humor and a lot of spankings (you could ask for something more?). I myself hadn't seen it for at least a couple of months, but my excuse is I feel like the busiest person on the face of the earth and before following new posts on the Bulletin Board I have to first keep the lights on at CSR and do at least one weekly update. So make a little time, watch Katie and other deserving females get their just desserts (Katie sometimes gets a bit more than that!), and try to post a comment, even a short one - our Resident Artists like to know there's someone out there looking over their stuff.

The dearth of comments has always been a problem, and as I've addressed the likely causes several times I don't want to repeat them all here. Some people (probably mostly women) are really scared when searching the internet for spanking material, and therefore try to remain anonymous at all times. And it's true that we've got big tech companies who want your personal information for profit and big government that wants your personal information for more sinister purposes, and they're all trying to collect your browsing history (erase it on your computer when you're finished, and incidentally do not ever answer questions from law enforcement without your attorney being present).

And yet you can be as anonymous as you like on this board - the only thing even I, the Big Kahuna around here, needs to know about you is an email address. Now if your name is Jane Smith and you want to protect your privacy, I suggest you get an email account with a name other than JaneSmith@bigtech.com . You can get free email addresses at a number of places and you can hide even that - say jsspanks@xyz.com - from everyone at CSR except me. All the rest of the members would know you only by your screen name here - say SpankyJane - and even I would have no way of finding out who your email account belongs to (I'm not the government, believe me).

Perhaps when I finally get around to creating the new Art Gallery I can post links there leading directly to the individual sub-forums here on the board belonging to our RA's. Don't know that it would help drive more traffic, but it's worth a try - once I get caught up on the mail.

Didn't add any new ones this year because I simply don't have the time. Because the season is a busy one, I want to hold off on posting any more of Phil S.'s more remarkable discoveries until January. In the mean time, we'll see some spankings of comic strip characters as drawn by independent artists, and possibly the sorority paddling scene from Coed Fever. SpankBoss recently reminded me of this film's existence (I saw it once in the early 80's), and I tracked it down and edited the relevant scene.

The Comic Strip Series then will continue into 2019 (its third year!). I don't know exactly how long it will run, but it will be for a number of weeks. Do keep checking in with CSR at least weekly, for we've got lots more excitement on he way!

We may assume that Jane is being spanked for sufficient cause, and she definitely makes a good spankee. The OTK positioning is good and Jane is wearing a lovely expression (bearing in mind the way she looked getting into that bathtub we wish that's all she was wearing ).

Yes, I agree. The only thing that could've made this spanking panel better would've been for the spanker to bare her bottom, or at least lift her skirt and spank the seat of her panties. Still... it's a very well-drawn M/F OTK spanking, and Jane looks like she's wearing a lightweight summer dress and is likely feeling the man's hand quite smartly even without it being raised!

The Comic Strip Series continues with a visit to For Better or For Worse. We have

• one actual butt-slap from the strip plus
• a nice pastiche by Collegeboy.

The example from the strip has the additional benefit of taking place during the Christmas season. Collegeboy may have sent me his several years ago or I may have discovered it searching the web. I imagine some of his work at Bared Affair, which disappeared rather suddenly, has been preserved somewhere and it is of interest even though it's F/F.

O.K. now for the rest of the news. I had actually been catching up a little lately, but yesterday I discovered another cartoon based on For Better or For Worse in our files. I'd like to present that one next week even though I've already coded something else and will have to change some pages if I do that. And just when I'm opening the mail every 2 or 3 days, which is real progress.

How did that happen, you ask? I am proud of being well organized, with something like 8000 files of new material for CSR being divided into about 400 folders and sub-folders, averaging 20 items per folder. (Not 8000 separate spankings, unfortunately, but a goodly number). You'd think that would keep like items together, but the For Better or For Worse cartoon was in the "Karstens and Bard" folder, consisting of cartoons Bawdy Bard sent me about three years ago rather than in the "Comic Strips" main folder.

Same problem with Doctor Cylon's vast output: I'll have to go through there and search for comic strip-based material. Bottom line is I'm not sure what we'll have next week, but it will be something.

I'm pressed for time, so the November Golden Age Comics Spanking Search will have to wait for next time or be omitted. There was nothing to report anyway, which brings me to some bad but unsurprising news: I've finished with the last of the romance comics, and not one spanking ! I've reported on this before, but in all there must have been at least 300 romance books and perhaps as many as 500 at one time sitting in my files waiting for me to go through them. This glut was the result of a tremendous effort made, I believe, in early 2016 to conclude the massive JVJ Project at Digital Comics Museum. I could not possibly keep up with the output, hence I had to carry over hundred of comics from one month to the next, taking up a lot of back-up time and space every few days (I've got it down to about 300 non-romance comics now, which is easier to manage).

But how is this possible? At absolute minimum, this must have been 10,000 pages (300 36-page comics) and was probably more (either more than 300 or some 52-pagers were included). During my peak year when I was searching 1000 pages per day, one spanking of some type would turn up in less than every two days or 2000 pages. Something is terribly wrong here and I can only list a few depressing possibilities:

1. The books were biased toward publishers like Harvey, who didn't favor spanking (at least in their romance titles). But I know there were plenty in there from Quality and Standard, also.

2. The books were published during the "dead zone" from 1956 - 1965. But I know many of them were earlier than that.

3. Lots of these books were reprint. I made some notes so I can help out at The Grand Comics Data Base if I ever have a minute, and I suspect
there were more reprints than I realize. That means that in maybe 40-50 cases, there never was any chance for a spanking since the original book didn't have one.

4. Some other anti-spanking factor, as yet unidentified, is at work here.

Anyway, I'll press on. I'm not looking forward to going through all those western comics books, but I will. And somewhere we will discover some more Golden Age spankings.

Since my last contribution or comment I've been in the hospital not once but twice. I finally had a prostate surgery that had been postponed twice this year. That procedure was a success and my quality of life is greatly improved in that area. Because of pain of an unknown source across my pelvic area - a pain that only throbs when I move about and started a few days after I returned home - I ended up in the emergency room at the referral of my urologist. I spent two more days as an inpatient and was released Saturday with the pain diminished but still a problem. Best guess is that it's muscle spasms aggravated by a urinary tract infection. I hope to get better soon but that's just a guess. Currently I am using a walker to relieve the stress on my body when I walk. I have also decided to move to a location that is not on an upper floor. So I'm moving into an apartment on ground level with laundry on the same level and much more convenient parking. I hope that my pain situation disappears as quickly as it came but I'm doing pretty well. I'm on a 10 lb. lift restriction and no ejaculation restriction. Well as you can imagine that last restriction has put a bit of a damper on my relationship to the material we all like so much here at CSR. Nevertheless, I think I can receive some mental therapy by continuing to contribute to this site. I'd hate to have something "unfortunate" occur to me without having made an effort to put some of my material out to the public.

His Unseen Audience October 10, 1928. Sally falls in love with a radio announcer. They correspond and she invites the man to visit her by way of the train. Sally's mother gets wind of the girl's infatuation with a near stranger and spanks the truth out of her. So mom takes Sally place at the train station wearing Sally's yellow hat as an identifier. Mom gets to know the radio announcer better - in a descent way - and likes him enough that she confesses that she is not actually Sally but her mother. Mom tells the guy that Sally is home nursing a spanking and that she is really a good girl. The young couple ends up getting along quite well.

First, Phil, I know I speak for everyone at CSR when I send you our best wishes for your speedy recovery! I'm sorry you've had so many difficulties and will have to give up spanking for a while. Take it easy, get well, and don't strain yourself on our account - I still have several good finds of yours plus some other strip material that will take us well into the new year.

As to these latest finds, His Unseen Audience is quite good - elegant lines and decent OTK positioning in this mother/daughter scene, although the spankee seems to be wearing a girdle that should have been removed so we could see the curves of her derriere and she could feel the spanks better!

The Buck Rogers lashing was of course fairly brutal, but defensible artistically - bad guys have to be shown to be bad.

Popeye spanks Alice Goon was just plain weird! It'll go into the Data Base, though. As for Popeye spanking the Sea Hag, I have a very low-resolution version from some reprint, but there's no dialogue that will help your search; it appears to be a "color by numbers" feature in a reprint comic. Nor do I even have the details on the reprint - rats! I do have Popeye spanking the Sea Hag's monster somewhere, but there never seemed any urgency about posting that one as I figured the monster to be male - yeuchh!

The team's usual virtues are here: a nice, consensual scene, good OTK positioning (and despite the implements on the floor, hand-spanking enthusiasts should be happy the the hand is used)

I'm not to fond of the manacles, but having the wrists bound seems to be a consistent thing in Karstens/Bard spankings. Everything else about that cartoon is great!. I'm not familiar enough with For Better or for Worse to really know who John and Elly are, but Elly sure looks cute turned over John's knee with her bottom reddening under his hand! The motion lines indicate that he's putting some oomph into the swats, and she's fluttering her legs in response!
